Suzanne Poulter Harris is the author of The Boy Behind the Wardrobe: How C. S. Lewis Grew Up to Create Narnia. She was born in Northern Ireland and taught geography two miles from Lewis’s childhood home in Belfast. After trading her classroom to travel the world as a U.S. Air Force spouse, she settled near Washington, DC, where she teaches elementary school reading. Suzanne Poulter Harris is the author of The Boy Behind the Wardrobe: How C. S. Lewis Grew Up to Create Narnia. She was born in Northern Ireland and taught geography two miles from Lewis’s childhood home in Belfast. Since trading her classroom to travel the world as a U.S. Air Force spouse, she has lived in five countries and five states. Suzanne currently teaches reading in an elementary school near Washington, DC. She is a long-time member of SCBWI and 12×12. When not reading or writing, Suzanne loves going on adventures with her husband and two daughters and visiting her family back home in Northern Ireland.
